www.mhjf.org The Grants-To-Educators program supports the foundations basic objective of recognizing and encouraging outstanding classroom or school programs for secular schools in Ohio. Grants up to $3,000 for classroom, school-wide or district-wide projects and should relate to an academic subject.
Target Field Trip Grants The innovative new Target Field Trip Grants program will award up to 800 educators grants of $1,000 each to fund a field trip for their students. From art museums and environmental projects to cultural events and civic experiences, Target Field Trip Grants could take you and your students on the ultimate field trip. The program is open to any full-time educators, teachers, principals or classified staff who wish to plan a field trip for their students.

Toyota TAPESTRY Grant ProgramThe Toyota TAPESTRY program awards 50 grants of up to $10,000 each and a minimum of 20 "mini-grants" of $2,500 each to K-12 science teachers. Interested teachers should propose innovative science projects that can be implemented in their school or school district over a one-year period. Toyota TAPESTRY projects demonstrate creativity, involve risk-taking, possess a visionary quality, and model a novel way of presenting science. If you have a great way to make science come alive, apply for a Toyota TAPESTRY grant.

Mathematics Education Trust (MET)MET provides funds to support classroom teachers in the areas of
improving classroom practices and
increasing teachers' mathematical knowledge. MET also sponsors activities for prospective teachers and NCTM's Affiliates, as well as recognizing the lifetime achievement of leaders in mathematics education. There may be a program that's just right for you!

GAR's Educator Initiative Grant Program offers funding to teams of K-12 educators who are working together to develop, implement, and assess instructional strategies for:
- helping their students meet Ohio's academic standards; and
- helping their schools achieve goals identified in their school improvement plans.
Only teams of educators from public, private, parochial and charter schools in
Summit County, Ohio may apply for Educator Initiative Grants from $1,000 - $15,000.

www.garfdn.orgTeaching ToleranceThe Teaching Tolerance project of the Southern Poverty Law Center offers grants of $500 to $2500 to preK-12 classroom teachers~for projects designed to reduce prejudice among youth, improve intergroup relations in schools, and/or support educator professional development in these areas.
Projects funded by Teaching Tolerance tend to be: small scale, clearly defined, economically responsible and sustainable. Grants can be submitted throughout the year and restricted to one per applicant or school per school year.
